Day 1: Transfer to Sipi falls, coffee tour
Have an early morning breakfast from your hotel and head East of Uganda through Jinja road. During your travel, enjoy a beautiful scenery of Mabira tropical rain forest, men and women selling chicken and beef on the stick, the beautiful Jinja town that has a relatively ancient look and feel, a town famously known for harboring the great river Nile, tea, sugar and rice plantations, streams flowing through and form the swamps, not forgetting a distant and sometimes close view of the local people and their way of life like women and men cycling on a bicycle also known as “Egaali” in the local language. Later have lunch at your lodge, relax and go to the coffee farm to experience the coffee processing a very exciting activity, see how great locally made coffee turns out so great. Roast, grind and enjoy your own hand made cup of coffee.
Day 2: Abseiling, Hike to the 3 waterfalls that lead you to an amazing cave adventure
Enjoy your adventure to the falls by abseiling and hiking on top of the falls this can take 4 hours or less for fast hikers and more than 4 hour for visitors hiking for the first time depending on their speed. This hike gives you the opportunity to view hills, farmlands of the local people and their coffee plantations, mountain Elgon with cliffs that cause waterfalls, sight of Kenya, see beautiful tinny crystals from the cave among other things. Enjoy the view of the 3 waterfalls that stretch 85m, 75m and 100m this sight is very pleasant and mind relaxing making it a great opportunity to pick your mat and meditate through the enchanting sound of wild African waterfalls, this also gives you a great view for photography and a great African breeze to bless your safari in Africa. Have lunch and enjoy your evening relaxing with a perfect view of the water falls.
Day 3: Rock painting, cultural trail and sunset walk
Head to Kumi at one of the oldest caves, to witness an ancient art work of the stone age men who were hunter-gatherers blessing the Teso people with a great cultural heritage. Later lunch and a cultural encounter, The Sebei have a very unique culture that will excite you as well as give you questions to ask the local exhibitors at that time about the food, marriage ceremony, the old tradition of female circumcision amongst other things. Enjoy the cultural dance and a taste of Sebei cultural food (optional) lunch will be served during the course of this tour and we shall enjoy another beautifully exciting activity the sunset view! spend your evening soaked in the rather setting sunlight that gives you a beautiful distant view of lake Bisina, Sipi town, 2 waterfalls, mountain Elgon this is very romantic and a great site for all too.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala
After enjoying your breakfast, you shall check out of the safari lodge and head for Kampala, this transfer to Kampala may lead you straight to your hotel or airport depending on what you agreed upon with the company. End of safari!
